The AZ-300 exam is an expert level exam which tests candidates for advanced knowledge and experience working with various aspects of Microsoft Azure.
Throughout this course Candidate will progressively build and expand upon both your knowledge, and hands-on experience working with Azure technologies including, but not limited to: infrastructure and operations, advanced and automated infrastructure, identity and security, hybrid cloud, and developing apps and services for the cloud.
The AZ-300 exam tests your knowledge of five subject areas and that’s how we’ve structured this learning path as well. We’ll start with deploying and configuring Azure infrastructure. This is the biggest section, and it covers a wide variety of topics, including storage, virtual machines, networking, and Azure Active Directory. Next, we’ll show you how to implement workloads and security. After that, you’ll learn how to create and deploy apps using either Azure App Service or Azure Container Service. Next, you’ll learn how to implement authentication and encryption. Finally, we’ll cover how to develop for the cloud using autoscaling and messaging.
Candidates for this exam are Azure Solution Architects who advise stakeholders and translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. Candidates should have advanced experience and knowledge across various aspects of IT operations, including networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data management, budgeting, and governance. This role requires managing how decisions in each area affects an overall solution. Candidates must be proficient in Azure administration, Azure development, and DevOps, and have expert-level skills in at least one of those domains.
